Zak & Melissa are such fun, easygoing, joyful people. This day at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs was so mellow, and I love mellow weddings! You might remember them from their nerdy engagement session last year - they met in the engineering department of the School of Mines. So, fittingly, they got married at 3:14 pm - or, as I called it, pi o'clock. Melissa wore her grandmother's veil, which just made her look like a Renaissance painting all day. I couldn't stop shooting - there was too much gorgeousness. Congratulations to you both, and thanks for including me in your amazing, amazing day!
I LOVE it when couples decide to do a First Look! This moment was so special. Plus, we got plenty of extra time for pictures!
We took the wedding party up to the historic ghost town of St. Elmo for some fun shots:
Absolute beauty!!
Who else is cool enough to launch the bouquet and garter off of a homemade catapult??!!
Zak & Lis - I just adore you guys. I can't thank you enough for the privilege of being your photographer. Best wishes to you both!
