Oh, this wedding, this wedding... by far one of my favorites. Maybe that's because the bride just so happens to be my good friend and former assistant. Or maybe because she married pretty much the sweetest guy ever. Or maybe because their wedding brought me back to my hometown, which I'm seriously missing these days. Or maybe because the ceremony was strategically planned so the wedding party would be walking down the aisle during twilight, just moments after sunset, and Claire carried a glowing bouquet. Actually... probably all of the above had something to do with it :)
Sigh... I miss these mountains.
Claire & Seth decided to do their first look on top of S Mountain in Salida. Yep, S Mountain, that's what it's called :) Also fitting because that happens to be the first letter of their last name. I was surprised to realize that, even after YEARS of living in the valley, I never made it up there. The views absolutely blew me away. Claire and Seth shared personal vows with each other after the First Look, and that was one of the sweetest, most favorite parts of the day.
Another of my favorite moments of the day: Seth got to talk to his brother, who's stationed with the military, just moments before walking down the aisle. His brother also joined us as an honorary groomsman... you'll see. 
I loved watching the sky turn darker and darker shades of blue throughout the ceremony.
