Craig and Bernadette are some of my favorite people - Bernadette started calling me "Mollyface" before we even actually met so I loved her right away. I've been looking forward to their wedding at The Pines at Genesee ever since their epic engagement session in the fall, and I was so excited to finally be able to shoot it! It was full of color and tattoos and happiness, just like I had hoped.
Love these shoes!
Lucky sixpence:
I love it when couples decide to do a First Look because we get moments like these.
Craig's brother Darrell couldn't be at the wedding, but he and Craig are so close that he was technically the best man. Craig made a life-sized cardboard cutout and carried him around everywhere. "Flat Darrell", as we all called him, also had several different outfits. It was awesome.
A real boutonnire for Flat Darrell.
This is Bernadette's sweet sister. I loved her red sparkle lips so much I needed to take a macro shot. This cracked her up and I got this shot instead, which is way better anyway.
The co-best man read Darrell's best man speech on his behalf. Everyone in the room was crying - even me, and I don't normally do that...
These next few shots are some of my favorites. They were shot at night at with just ambient light from the streetlamps nearby, which gave the images such a surreal, dreamy, eerie feel. I just love the mood of these.
Another one of my favorites - there is so much awesomeness going on in this picture.
Craig and Bernadette - you guys are so amazing and so so cool and I loved everything about this day. Thank you.
