Sara and Matt had one of the FUNNEST weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure of shooting! They are a super fun, photogenic, and laid-back couple, and they got married at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs on February 18th, 2010 on a gorgeously cold winter wonderland day – big fat snowflakes at just the right times. It was awesome for me to meet their close group of friends, who are all so loving, and fun, and amazing dancers :), and quickly came to feel like my own friends. Their wedding was so unique – complete with custom engraved beer mug favors, a great selection of indie music with some Tupac sprinkled in (yay!), snowboarding videos projected on a big screen during the reception, and cap guns for the guests to shoot in celebration when they were pronounced husband and wife. There was a heavenly abundance of good beer. Since they decided to do a First Look and see each other before the ceremony, we had time to head down to Benson’s, one of their favorite vintagey pubs in Salida, for a Mad Men- inspired shoot (much to the entertainment of all the old men hanging out at the bar at 2 pm on a Thursday :) Needless to say, I LOVE this wedding! More coming soon :)

The first look in Mt. Princeton’s meadow…

This next one is one of my favorite shots of the day! First Looks are always so sweet & intimate.
Model material!
I love this idea! Their photo table held framed photos of other family members on their wedding days. So sweet!
The first wedding I’ve been to with a basket full of guns at the door. I guess it’s an old Colorado pioneer tradition? If you know me, you’ll know how in love I am right now.
I asked Sara’s brother if I could borrow his beer for this shot because it was unopened. He said something about breaking my arm off. I gave it back.
Thank you SO MUCH, Sara & Matt! I love you guys and I can’t wait to hang out soon. Two words: DANCE PARTY.

Dance Party!!! Woot Woot! Can’t wait! Love you Molly! You are AMAZING at what you do!!!!
Way cool pictures! Sorry we couldn’t make it. i heard you had beer…?
Beautiful couple…so much love apparent in these photos. I love the collage shots, Molly! You have a unique perspective that I really like…so much so that I am going to dust off my cameras and find the love of photography again. Thank you for the inspiration!
