Ashley & David are married! They got married at the Salida Steamplant, which is one of my favorite local venues.  It’s such a cool building with a totally unique feel.  Let me apologize to your browser in advance – there are a ton of images :)  Ashley’s dress was gorgeous, her facial expressions were priceless, and the bright oranges & purples she chose were the perfect pop of color for a winter wedding.  Yeah yeah, I know, March is springtime anywhere else, but in the mountains I think it’s considered winter until the snow melts enough for the passes to open – meaning June-ish :)

Their love is so obviously deep.  They are some of the most genuine people I have ever met.   Their friends and family are kind, classy, fun people.   Congratulations, Ashley & David – may you have a lifetime of blessings ahead of you :)

What a sweet impromptu moment between Ashley & her dad…look at how proud he is!

I am so glad they decided to do a First Look and see each other before the wedding!  This is something I can’t suggest strongly enough – it gives us a chance to have more time to get some amazing shots, and to get them out of the way before the ceremony.

They brought their three kids – I mean, dogs – and included them in the ceremony!  Ashley even had little colorful fabric flowers for their collars.  I loved it! They were so well-behaved, although trying to get all three dogs to do the same thing at the same time made for some awesome moments.  This first shot on the left is one of my new all-time favorites :)

We had the time to head to a great antique store in Salida, and they were kind enough to let us take some shots around their property.  What an awesomely funky spot… actually, I think this building covered with crosses was an outhouse in a past life…. shh, don’t tell ;)

This was the first wedding I shot where they hired a photo booth company!  The guys from Ear2Ear Photo Booths are so awesome and nice – they were telling me that they have a booth made out of an old ski lift, too.  Come on (nudge nudge)… you know you want it!  Everyone had a blast with the photo booth and the props that the Ear2Ear guys brought eventually made their way on to the dance floor, too.  Which obviously made me happy.

I never would have guessed that I’d find myself saying this, but… doesn’t this make you want to see more brides in white fedoras & purple boas?
