I always love shooting senior portraits with girls who live adventurously. Liz and I hiked a glacier on a brisk fall day for her senior pictures, which has to be one of the most Colorado things you could do. The light was perfect, the air was crisp, and Liz even stood in a freezing glacial waterfall to get some amazing images. Liz, thank you so much for such an incredible session! You are a true beauty and your soul shines bright.

Man oh man, I love my Senior Models. We put together the most fun ever styled shoot based on the book Where the Wild Things Are and we built a tree fort in my backyard and it was amazing.
Many images in this shoot are taken with my awesome Petzval lens - I felt like the swirly bokeh and slight lens distortion really added a surreal, otherworldly feeling to this shoot that was perfect. Thanks to this amazing team of ladies, and to Lomography Magazine for featuring some images from this shoot recently!
I was so excited to hear from Savannah! She told me she wanted something colorful and unique for her senior portraits, and then she mentioned that she'd love to shoot at an old church. I knew just the place! (well, places, haha). Lyons was the perfect colorful, offbeat backdrop for her senior pictures, and then we headed up farther into the mountains to shoot at the epic St Malo's Chapel near Allenspark. Love!
