. about .
Let me confess a few things. I have almost crashed my car while driving (multiple times) because I’m gawking at the amazing light around me. Sometimes, the night before a shoot that I’ve been looking forward to, I get so excited that I can’t sleep. I drink way too much coffee. My hair might be a different color each time you see me.
I love my job! I get to do something new every day and meet wonderful people in the process. I see incredible beauty all around me, wherever I look, and my goal with my photography is to help others see that same beauty. I love to travel in general, and I would be delighted to travel locally, nationally, or internationally to photograph your wedding, engagement session, family portraits, senior portraits, modeling portfolio… anything! Let’s go!
I fell in love photography while on a trip to Russia in middle school. I was with a group of friends and we were walking through a rural village when we came across an old woman selling jars of honey on the side of the road. “Look at those colors!” a friend whispered to me. “I wish I wasn’t out of film!” I looked at the old lady and I saw it: jars of amber colored honey glowing in the sunlight, red headscarf, bright blue blouse, green patterned shawl, a scuffed brown table. At that moment, I wished I had a camera, and I wished I knew how to use it. When I got home, I bought my first camera (an old Pentax), and things have never been the same.
